| Every practice needs to know that its data is secure. You need the ability
to keep prying eyes out, whilst allowing your own staff to have access to
vital areas. The problem that can arise is that most dental practices have
no technically minded staff working for them. What you require is the
ability to configure program security in as simple a way as possible,
without sacrificing the integrity of your data. This is the approach that we
at Fusion Software have taken. The Bridge-IT security module divides up program functions into tasks, which you can then, quite literally, drag and drop into security groups. If a task is dropped into a group, then that group will be able to perform that task. Delete it from the group, and they will no longer have access to that area. It's as simple as that! |

Staff members are assigned a user name, a password and a group. They can then immediately use the program, but will only see those areas for which they have permission. Entry to the program is attained through a log on screen that requires the input of a user name and password, thus only authorized users can gain access to your data.
