Appointment Diary

One of the most important features of any dental software application is the ability to quickly and efficiently book patient appointments. The Bridge-IT appointment diary has been designed to make this as fast and as painless a process as possible.

Reception staff can quickly switch between providers, viewing up to five staff members appointments at any one time. Appointments can be colour coded as a visual representation of their current status, and once created, can be dragged and dropped to different times or to different staff members with a single click of the mouse. Appointment descriptions can either be typed manually or created automatically by Bridge-IT based upon the information you've provided.

For the reception desk, moving through the diary could not be easier, with up to four calendars viewable at any one time, the ability to instantly jump ahead 3, 6 or 12 months, full control over the time intervals viewed in the diary i.e. 5, 6, 10, 15, 30 minutes etc, and the facility to view days, weeks or months in the diary at the touch of a button.

The appointment diary will also provide you with a list of every available appointment slot for you. (see picture at bottom of page).

Finding An Appointment After a short period of time, you can find your diary filling up fast. The last thing you want is your reception staff wasting time laboriously searching for available appointment slots. Bridge-IT's booking system comes with it's own appointment slot finder, enabling you to key in some relevant search criteria, such as a date range and appointment length, then instantly browse through the free slots that the space finder has found for you. Using Bridge-IT's appointment diary ensures that you are able to maximize the efficiency of your practice staff, and increase the productivity of your chair time.
