The Speak-IT Speech Recognition Module

Fusion Software (UK) Ltd are proud to release the very latest in dental charting technology - the speech recognition module.  This is far more than a generic speech activator such as Dragon Naturally Speaking which would only allow you very basic control of any program, rather our Speak-IT module is fully integrated into the Bridge-IT program meaning you have far greater control over what the software actually does.

For example, using our Speak-IT module, the dentist can literally tell the program which treatment he/she wishes to administer and then specify the actual teeth affected by that treatment.  Because the module is integrated into the program you can chart the range of teeth a denture or a bridge covers and even specify tooth surfaces for fillings.  Using either a stand alone microphone, or a light weight wireless headset, the user can verbally perform dental charting far more quickly than is possible using conventional means.

The speech recognition module also extends into other areas of the program such as the internal word processor, so that letters can be quickly "written" by voice communication alone.  Please note the basic requirements below for ensuring the speech recognition module functions efficiently.
